We'd like to help BGHS students have a meaningful school experience. ​To accomplish that, a committee of classmates decided to establish a fund for school administrators to assist students in need. Donations will go to the Bowling Green Schools Foundation. Come Alongside Others As proud graduates and friends of BGHS who cherished the opportunities the high school and community provided for us, we'd like to help future BGHS students have the same meaningful experience. To accomplish that, a committee of classmates seeks to collect a one-time sum of funds between now and our September 2025 Reunion Weekend to share with an already established and proven aid organization called The Dear Santa Society. The Dear Santa Society chapter in Bowling Green has been helping children and their families since 2008 -- not just at Christmas, but throughout the year. Personalized gifts of food, clothing, school supplies, toys, games, and personal hygiene products are some of the gifts most appreciated. At times, a gift from the Dear Santa Society can cover rent for a temporarily unhoused family, or pay for a prom outfit, a graduation gown, or the fee for a school trip. There’s really no limit to the number of ways the Class of 1975 can come alongside others to brighten their days and help to secure their futures. 100% of our gifts go directly to these Bowling Green families. Will you tap into your well of generosity and help make life a little easier, a little more joyful, a little more dignified for as many students as possible? Contributions are fully tax deductible and truly, any amount you can give will be celebrated. There is a link on The Dear Santa Society website to make online contributions easily. Make sure to designate BGHS Class of 1975 as you do so. Or, if you’d prefer to write a check, please make it out to The Dear Santa Society, and note BGHS Class of 1975 on the memo line. We’ll get you an address to mail your checks to. Try to make your contributions before Friday, September 5, 2025. We will reveal the final amount of our class gift at the Saturday, September 6 Reunion Dinner, as well as through all our other communication channels: Facebook, this website, and email.
